Operator & Passenger Requirements

Age & Height: Operators must be 18 or older. Passengers must be at least 42 inches tall.

Capacity & Weight Limits: Each jet ski accommodates one operator and one passenger only. The total weight of both riders cannot exceed 375 lbs.

Language Proficiency: All operators and passengers must be fluent in English to ensure proper understanding of safety instructions.

Intoxication Policy: No rentals will be provided to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The booking fee will not be refunded, and rescheduling is not permitted.

Rental Requirements

Identification Requirements: A physical, government-issued ID is required at check-in. Digital copies or photos will not be accepted.

Bring the form of payment used to to make the reservation with you to the dock, we will hold the card in lieu of a deposit.

Arrival Time: All renters must check in at least 45 minutes before their scheduled departure. Arriving late may result in cancellation without a refund.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation Window:
To cancel a reservation, email contact@skylinejetski.com with your full name and confirmation number at least 48 hours in advance.

Refunds:

  • Full refunds are available for cancellations made 48+ hours before the reservation.

  • No refunds are provided for cancellations within 48 hours unless approved by management.

Weather-Related Cancellations:
In cases of inclement weather, Skyline Jetski will decide on the morning of your rental whether to reschedule or refund based on safety considerations.

Safety & Compliance

Weather Conditions: Reservations may be rescheduled due to bad weather, determined at our discretion on the day of the rental.

Reservation Changes: We reserve the right to adjust or cancel reservations based on current or expected weather and lake conditions for safety reasons.

Operating Zones: Jet skis must stay within the designated boundaries—north to Foster Beach and south to Adler Planetarium. Entering The Playpen or Chicago River is strictly prohibited.
